Planning Board

 The primary objective of the Planning Board is to develop and maintain a continuing, cooperative planning program to benefit the people of the City of Lincolnton and its extraterritorial jurisdiction.  

The purpose of the Planning Board is to develop and recommend policies, ordinances, administrative procedures, and other means for carrying out plans in a coordinated and efficient manner. 

This is an 7 member board; 6 members being residents of the City of Lincolnton who are appointed by the Lincolnton City Council; 1 member (residing in the ETJ) is appointed by the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

Regular Meetings:

Time: 4 p.m.

Date: The third Tuesday of each month

Location: Lincolnton City Hall (114 W Sycamore St. Lincolnton, NC 28092)
