On May 1st, 2017, the City of Lincolnton will begin using vehicles which operate

a mechanical arm to lift and empty our 96-gallon roll-out cart and then return the

container to its original position. Since the automated collection vehicle requires a

crew of only one driver, as compared to a crew of three, the long term financial

savings in labor cost will be significant.
