[ARCHIVED] Independence Day Celebration

The City of Lincolnton will be holding their July 4th festivities on Sunday, July 3rd this year.

The City of Lincolnton welcomes all to come and join us in the celebration of our great Country's Independence. The City of Lincolnton will be sponsoring a Parade and Fireworks display on Sunday July 03, 2016.
The parade will begin at 8:30 PM on July 3rd on East Main Street and end at the Lincolnton High School. Parents bring your kids out at 6:30 PM to enjoy kid games on the 100 block of North Academy Street.
The Independence Day program will start at the conclusion of the parade. The program stage will be setup at the Lincolnton High School Football Stadium. The fireworks display will follow the program. The fireworks can be seen from the stadium or all along the northwest part of town.
Come out early to get yourself a good seat on Main Street to enjoy the parade then make your way to the high school stadium to see the fireworks.
The family fun is free to all, so come on out and let’s enjoy the celebration together.
