A partial planned electric power outage will start at 10pm Wednesday 1/11 until 3am Thursday 1/12. 

The City of Lincolnton has to replace a power pole that was damaged in a car crash, the pole carries two critical Lincolnton electrical transmission circuits. The Pine Street and Walmart/Generals Blvd electrical circuits will be cut for safety precautions. This will impact City of Lincolnton Electric Utility residential and commercial customers within the circuits (see picture).

Please make sure you have backup power plans for any required services or health-related needs. 

City electric crews will work as quickly and safely as possible to restore Lincolnton Electric Utility power.
