Conveyance of Property Pursuant to G.S. 160A-280

The City of Lincolnton has declared surplus and no longer has a need for its 1995 Pierce Lance Fire Truck, Vin# 4P1CT02D2SA000428.  City staff has requested that the above-mentioned fire truck, along with various other surplus firefighting equipment, be donated to the Letcher County Fire Department in Letcher, Kentucky.

North Carolina General Statute 160A-280 authorizes the donation of city property to non-profits, sister cities, and other units of government.  

The Lincolnton City Council will consider the adoption of a resolution to approve the conveyance of this property at the City Council meeting on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall located at 114 W. Sycamore Street.
