The Lincolnton City Council will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Thursday, April 7 at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers of Lincolnton City Hall located at 114 West Sycamore Street Lincolnton, NC.
Notice is hereby given that the following Public Hearings will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 114 West Sycamore Street, Lincolnton, NC concerning the following:
• CZ-3-2022- Application from Anderson Properties requesting the conditional zoning of 0.10 acres of land from Central Business (CB) District to Residential-Office Conditional District (RO CD ) for the purpose of renovating the existing building for two (2) residential units. The subject property is located at 125 West Water Street (Parcel ID 00510).
• ZMA-2-2022-Application from Koval Builders requesting the rezoning of 0.142 acres of land from General Business (GB) District to Residential-10 (R-10) District. The subject property is located at 729 East Sycamore Street (Parcel ID 21978).
Parties in interest and citizens shall have the opportunity to be heard and may obtain further information on the scheduled public hearing from the Planning Department (704-736-8930) on the second floor of City Hall located at 114 West Sycamore Street, Lincolnton 28092.
In addition to the two public hearings noted above, regular agenda items include approvals for the use of city ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds, the purchase of a new automated trash truck, chemical purchasing contracts for the Water Resources department, and other routine items.
All presentations and public comments will take place in person. The meeting will be live-streamed for citizens to view/hear the meeting remotely or view/listen to the recorded meeting later.
