The Lincolnton Fire Department is conducting a Live Controlled Fire Burn as a training exercise on Tuesday, 11/2 in the late afternoon/evening. The structure is at the end of North High Street at the intersection of Bonview Avenue. Starting this afternoon, several streets will be closed including the 400 block of N. High St and the 200 & 300 blocks of Bonview Ave.

Don't be surprised, or alarmed, when you see smoke in the area beginning around 5 pm. The exercise will end at around 10 pm, but there will be smoke throughout the evening and the structure may continue to smolder overnight.
