The Lincolnton City Council will hold its regularly scheduled council meeting on June 24 at 7pm. Two public hearings are scheduled for citizen comments. The meeting will be live-streamed for citizen viewing.

June 24, 2021 City Council Meeting
The City of Lincolnton City Council will hold its regularly scheduled council meeting on Thursday, June 24 at 7:00 PM. In addition to regular agenda items, the council will hold two public hearings for citizen comments.
CZ-5-2021 - Application from Piedmont Companies Inc., requesting a Conditional Rezoning from R-8 and R-O Districts to the Planned Residential District (PRD) for the purpose of building 20 Townhomes. The subject property is 1.5 acres in size and is made up of three parcels located on the north side of East Main Street approximately 150 feet east of the intersection of Huss Street and East Main Street (Parcel ID 22425, 22424, and 51760).
TITLE VII – Traffic Code – Chapter 74, Schedule 1: STOP INTERSECTIONS ADD: Motz Ave. and Marcia H. Cloninger Rail-Trail (add stop sign on the north side of Motz Ave., traveling westbound). Staff will also be recommending the addition of a crosswalk to connect the parking area that is opposite the new Motz Ave. Dog Park at the old Public Works site.
Seating in council chambers will be limited to comply with current social distancing restrictions.
All presentations and public comments will take place in person. The meeting will be live-streamed for citizens to view/hear the meeting remotely. The live stream meeting link is posted on the LincolntonNC.org homepage. Anyone may view/hear the live meeting or view/hear previous videos.
