The Lincoln County Health Department releases the current data for Covid-19 cases for the county. This information is current as of the date of this release and may have some differences with the state’s Dashboard due to delays in data entry or undetermined designations for some data areas.
In regards to identified deaths for Lincoln County, 36 are related to congregate care facilities.
As a reminder, the number of active cases reported on Tuesdays includes new cases received over a four-day period.
Continuance of control measures around the “3 W’s” is strongly encouraged to reduce the risk of transmission within our community.

Vaccine Info for Lincolnton & Lincoln County - Appointment Scheduling for Eligible Groups (Currently Groups 1-4)

The call center is staffed Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., and provides info on vaccine availability and priority groups.
Lincoln County Health Department has updated appointment scheduling with limited appointments available based on supply.
The NC Governor’s EO195 Eases Restrictions effective 2/26/21. It eliminates the Modified Stay at Home Order requiring people to stay at home and businesses to close to the public between 10 pm and 5 am. The number of people who may gather indoors is now 25, while 50 remains the limit for outdoors. The curfew on the sale of alcohol for onsite consumption is now 11 pm. EO195 has two general categories of occupancy restrictions: 30% capacity and 50% capacity. Indoor facilities in the 30%-occupancy category may not exceed two hundred fifty (250) people per indoor room or indoor space.
The order requires face coverings and social distancing in all public places and all indoor settings if there are nonhousehold members present, regardless of the distance away.
