The Lincoln County Health Department releases the current data for Covid-19 cases for the county. This information is current as of the date of this release and may have some differences with the state’s Dashboard due to delays in data entry or undetermined designations for some data areas. To date, Covid-19 cases for Lincoln County are:
Active Cases – 112
Recovered Cases – 8,377
Deaths – 76
In regards to identified deaths for Lincoln County, 33 are related to congregate care facilities.

Lincoln County Health Department has updated appointment scheduling with limited vaccine availability.
Starting February 24, the COVID-19 vaccine will be available to anyone working in childcare or PreK-12 schools. North Carolina plans to move to additional frontline essential workers on March 10.
The NC Governor’s EO181 Modified Stay-at-Home & Early Closure Order has been extended by EO189 and remains in effect through February 28, 2021. The order places NC under a modified "Stay-at-Home" order from 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. It also requires nighttime closure from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for certain businesses and activities and prohibits the sale and service of alcohol for onsite consumption from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The order extends capacity & gathering limits from previous orders and requires face coverings and social distancing in all public places and all indoor settings if there are nonhousehold members present, regardless of the distance away. All gatherings are limited to 10 people indoors and 50 outdoors.
