All positive test results and PUIs reported to Lincoln County Health Department will continue to be verified and communicated once received.
- A positive active case is a person who tested positive in a lab and remains in isolation until cleared.
- A positive recovered case is a person who tested positive in a lab but has now met the state criteria for clearance.
- A PUI is a person who was tested for COVID-19 and is self-isolating until test results are received.

- Local health department staff continue to communicate with people who may have come into close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 to provide information, resources, and support during the quarantine period.
- It is important that you continue to work with our contact tracing team to determine your risk for COVID-19 and limit the spread in our community to protect those at high risk.
- Contact tracers WILL NEVER ask for your social security number or financial information.
- All information shared during the calls is considered private health information and will be kept confidential.

- WAIT in lines for service at least 6 feet apart to avoid close contact.

- As we move through this current window of the COVID-19 epidemic, it is, unfortunately, unavoidable to see more viral transmission. This means it is likely that any of us will have one (or more) possible exposure events.
- As cases continue to occur, many will have friends, family or their selves contract COVID19. This will create a higher degree of anxiety for some, due to the direct impact.
- It is important to continue to recognize that the virus has a very high recovery rate.
