[ARCHIVED] City Closes All Facilities to Visitors for Two Weeks

All buildings and facilities closed to visitors through Friday, April 24. Staff available by phone, email & website. All services continue for residents.

The City of Lincolnton today announced it is closing all city offices and facilities to visitors for two weeks beginning Monday, April 13, and continuing through Friday, April 24, 2020. As previously scheduled, all facilities will be closed on Friday, April 10 in observance of the Good Friday holiday.

This closure includes city hall, the fire department, police department, parks and recreation, public works, water treatment plant and wastewater treatment plant. All Lincoln County offices and facilities will also be closed during this time.

City staff will continue to work in all facilities and provide essential City services to City residents. The Utility Billing drive-thru will remain open and available for utility payments, however, all doors will remain locked. Anyone needing to conduct business with the City should contact staff by phone and/or email or use the website to submit applications and forms. The City of Lincolnton is working with local, county, and state partners to help protect the health and wellness of both the community and its employees during this time and is making these changes while still ensuring it can provide essential services to residents.
