The new City of Lincolnton residential curbside recycling program runs its first collection route on Friday, June 7th. All recycling program participants should put their new recycling roll-out at the curb on Thursday night - collection starts at 7am and should be completed by late morning. Be sure that you don't contaminate your recycling by placing unapproved items into the bin. 

Registration to participate in the program is open to all single family & duplex residential customers that live inside the Lincolnton city limits. The program does not service any businesses, non-profits or apartment complexes at this time. 

You can register to participate at any time and new participants will be added to the collection route on a monthly basis. Acceptable recycling includes aluminum & metal cans, plastics #1, #2 & #5 ONLY and all paper/cardboard/newspapers.
