In preparation for weather due to Hurricane Florence, all City of Lincolnton Parks will be closing for the weekend.
The Lincolnton Parks & Recreation Department is preparing our facilities for winds and rain in the coming days. The Lentz Recreation Center & gym will close at 3pm today and all city parks will be closed at 7pm tonight. This includes Betty Ross Park, Highland Drive Park, First Federal Park and City Park. Weather permitting, we will reopen at 9am on Monday, 9/17/18. We are sandbagging the Lentz Recreation Center Gym building and moving all equipment to storage at higher ground. Stay safe this weekend.
