Help us raise awareness and funds to expand our Rail Trail! Find out more about the Carolina Thread Trail and why it's important to Lincolnton, our plans to expand the trail connections and the exciting new blueway additions we're working on.
A day of outdoor fun to raise funds, and awareness, for Lincolnton's Rail Trail! The Lincolnton Rail Trail connects three of our city’s parks: Betty G. Ross park on the south side, First Federal Park in the center of town and City Park to the north. Expansion plans include connecting City Park to the trail at Ramsour’s Mill & Betty Ross Park to the trailhead at Laboratory Mill.
And we have blueway plans underway as well! This spring we will build our first river launch on the South Fork River with a dock and fishing pier at Betty Ross Park. It will be the perfect spot to put in a kayak or tube for a float or throw a line out to fish. We’re excited about our trail and blueway plans! These amenities add so much to our community – healthy, outdoor places for community members and visitors to connect with nature and each other.
“Meet Me at the Trail” will help raise much needed funds to improve and expand our trails and blueways.
