The City of Lincolnton is pleased to announce that Laura Morris has accepted the position of Events and Facilities Coordinator.

The City of Lincolnton is pleased to announce that Laura Morris has accepted the position of Events and Facilities Coordinator. Laura has thirty plus years of professional experience in marketing, promotions, communications and management in both the public and private sector. These sectors include Lone Star College System (95,000 students)- Associate Vice Chancellor of Marketing and Communications; CBS Radio (VIACOM)- Senior Vice President/Houston General Manager; Houston Texans NFL- Vice President Administration and Broadcast; and Chancellor Media, AMFM & Rusk Corporation-Vice President and General Manager. She is well versed in brand development, website design and social media. Laura has participated in the marketing for events such as Houston Super Bowl 51 and the NCAA Final Four and has developed and operated community events such as “Ten Man Jam”. In her words, she is a “roll-up-your sleeves” employee who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is eager to help with moving Lincolnton forward and expanding community relations.

 As the Events and Facilities Coordinator, Laura will serve as the point of contact for all inquiries related to events and facility use. She will also plan and assist with the development, organization, and promotion of events and program activities occurring in the City. Her beginning day of work is August 8th.Laura Morris
