Advertisements for Bids


Sealed Bids for the construction of the Lincolnton, NC Clarifier and RAS Pump Rehabilitation Project will be received, by the Town of Lincolnton at 114 West Sycamore St. Lincolnton NC, until 2:00PM local time on November 30, 2023, at which time the bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Project consists of rehabilitation work on existing components of the WWTP including:


Clarifiers- Rehabilitation and Cleaning of 2 clarifiers. Concrete and steel structures of the existing clarifiers are still serviceable and be reused after reconditioning. All other Components Rehabbed. Baffles and Trough replaced. 


Return Activated Sludge (RAS) Pumps- 2 RAS Pumps will be rebuilt as part of this project.


The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Burch Environmental LLC. The contact person is Jerry Twiggs phone: (828)405-3097, email: jerry.twiggs@burchenv.com. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents by contacting Jerry Twiggs on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM. 


Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available via email. The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor consultant will be responsible for the full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. 


Bid Security shall be furnished in accordance with the instructions to Bidders. 


Bidders must hold a valid North Carolina General Contractors license. 

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference has previously been held.
