National Night Out in Lincolnton

NNO logo 2019 v2

Attend a block party on Tuesday 8/6 - it's a great way to meet your neighbors, and Lincolnton officials!

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Coordinated with the National Crime Prevention Council, NNO brings police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Multiple NNO block parties are hosted by “block captains” in various Lincolnton neighborhoods on the first Tuesday of August each year. The LPD and City Council look forward to seeing neighbors at each block party, and attend every one.

For 2019, NNO is on Tuesday, August 6th and the 2019 Block Party locations are:

  1. Rhyne Heights Methodist Church – Madison Street
  2. 100 Block Policarp St. (Child Advocacy Center)
  3. Oaklawn Community – Linden Street
  4. Lutherhaus Apartments – Office Building (709 Tate St)
  5. Crestview Community – Tate St. & Rock Creek Dr.
