City offices closed Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day

Memorial Day 2019 - Solid Waste Schedule

Solid Waste trash pick-up schedule modified for the week. And the Veterans Council is hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, 5/27 at East Court Square starting at 12Noon.

City of Lincolnton offices and facilities are closed on Monday, May 27th in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. The Solid Waste trash pick up schedule is modified for the week:

Solid Waste trash collection for week of 5/27/19
Monday, May 27th -No Collection - Holiday
Tuesday, May 28th -Monday route collected
Wednesday, May 29th -Tuesday route collected
Thursday, May 30th -Wednesday & Thursday route collected

We are still accepting registrations for the new curbside recycling program on a rolling basis. You can sign up at any time to have a recycling bin delivered to your home for monthly recycling collection. Get all the details at this link:  Residents already registered for the program by Monday, May 20th will receive new recycling roll-out bins this week and will participate in the first collection on Friday, June 7th. New registration sign-ups will get a roll-out bin delivered in the next several weeks and will be included in the next monthly pick-up on July 5th.

In addition, everyone is invited to join the Lincoln County Veterans Council for a Memorial Day Ceremony at the Court Square on Monday, 5/27. The ceremony takes place on the East Side of the Court Square starting at 12Noon and will end at 12:30pm. The traffic triangle on East Main Street and the lane between the triangle & Court House will be closed for the ceremony, but traffic can still travel east & west on Main Street. The Lincoln County Veterans Council includes the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Marine Corps League, Vietnam Veterans and Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organizations.
