Recreation

With majestic mountains on the west and Lake Norman on the east, Lincoln County offers recreational opportunities to satisfy everyone's ambitions.

Every change in the season brings a bounty of new activities. Tap your feet and clap your hands at the Alive After Five concert series in summer.

Take it easy at the annual Apple Festival in fall. Celebrate the holidays at our Christmas Parade and take a Carriage Ride in winter. There is plenty to keep you busy in Lincolnton.

Classic Downtown
But recreational fun isn't limited to scheduled events. Our classic downtown is a top destination for pottery and antique browsers. Come rediscover artifacts from your childhood or find that perfect gift in one of our specialty shops. Unique shopping experiences are always just around the corner in Lincolnton.
Trails
Walkers, joggers, strollers and cyclists use the Marcia Cloninger Rail-Trail to stretch their legs and renew their souls. The trail stretches from City Park to Motz Avenue and is 1.7 miles in length.
